  and with football marked “T.W.SHERRIN MAKER” & “C’WOOD F.C.”. Size 19x30cm (some peripheral faults). With message & signature on reverse, “Billy Strickland 1895. Dear Tom, This photograph was taken on the request of your Grand Uncle, the founder of the firm T.W.Sherrin. You are quite welcome to same. Your sincerely (signed) Billy Strickland. We were great friends”.
