    This five tiered stacking box Jubako is of the highest elegance of the Japanese aesthetic, the quality of which would have been reserved for only the wealthiest families and imperial class, featuring stunning upraised gold lacquer Koi Fish swimming in a pond. The artisan who created this superb jubako was a master craftsman who spent countless hours in decorating this exquisite jubako box. The interiors of each compartment are handsomely adorned with gold makie Gold Dust decoaration. Jubako were used to carry delicacies to special holidays and New Years festivals.
