  An 18ct. gold half hunter pocket watch
  the hinged cover with blue enamel inlaid Roman numerals opening to reveal a white enamel face with Roman numerals, railtrack minutes, subsidiary seconds dial, the watch back engraved and with remnants of blue enamel with the crest of the Brodie Clan: a dexter hand raised holding a sheath of three arrows beneath the motto ‘Unite’, and further with his monogram. 60gms.

  The lot is from the Estate of Rena Frances Brodie are associated with Capt. Francis Brodie, born Scotland, served with the 71st (Highland) Light Infantry (Lieut.), died at his home at Lake St John, Remuera,1916, Auckland Town Clerk 1870s, an awardee of 400 acres under the Military Settlers Act 1889.
