Lot Description:A late 19thC Rotherhams gent’s 18ct. yellow gold full hunter presentation pocket watch
fully engraved with encircling geometric and floral bands, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial, fusée movement. 130gms. The interior back cover engraved ‘David Strang, James Frew Strang, David Uttley Strang. -
Notes:David Strang of Invercargill developed the first ‘Dry Hot-Air’ coffee drying process in 1890 thus producing one of the earliest patented instant coffees.
