  A 19thC French porcelain vase with ormolu mounts
  the ovoid body painted with a panel depicting a gentleman in 18thC costume and to the reverse a spray of summer flowers, reserved on a cobalt ground framed by gilt borders, raised on a circular spreading foot, further decorated with summer flowers; an ormolu mount moulded as a fruiting vine encircles the rim, two handles issue from the sides moulded with pan mask heads and raised on an ormolu base moulded with laurel leaves. Height 330.
