  An old large worked pounamu piece
  hourglass suspension to top and evidence of other broken hole, flared tapered form to the rounded and straight edged sectional blade, semi-translucent mid-dark green colourway with brown and paler inclusions, possibly used as a scraper and with old label inscribed as such. Length 156, maximum width 11. Reg. Y16740, probably 19thC. $200ROSS’s DESCR.A piece of worked greenstone, possibly a scraper, drilled with a large suspension hole to one corner. Y registered. 155 x 125.
