Lot Description:A Nepalese gilt bronze standing figure of Padmapani, 16th-17th century
standing in a lotus base with the body beautifully curved in 'S' shape, the right hand of the jewelled figure lowered in 'varadamudra', with a stem of lotus flower rising from the base to his upper arm, the left hand held a similar lotus stem, the dhoti with carved flower patterns, the face with downcast eyes and peacefully arching brows, the hair piled into a high chignon and secured with a foliate tiara, the base sealed
