  An 18thC Japanese Imari export barber surgeon’s bowl
  the flared rim with curved cut-away section and two pierced suspension holes, decorated in the traditional pallet with paulownia florals and scrolls, the centre with an unglazed section painted with enamels, this to facilitate stacking. Diameter 260. Together with ‘East West Gallery’ description reporting as early 18thC.
