the oval base on stylised scroll and foliate bracket feet, applied with battle trophies around the circular enamel dial with black Roman numerals, pierced trefoil hands, the movement with 8-day bell striking movement, surmounted by a finely modelled figure of an armoured knight brandishing his axe aloft a rearing horse upon a naturalistic rocky mount, beneath a glass dome
