  Dutch version containing stories of the Old and New Testaments, with prints by Rembrandt van Rijn. 1910-2 parts (Old and New Testaments), 133 pp & 163 pp, bound in burgundy-red leather, gilt and embossing, gilt edges, 51 x 40cm, elephant folio edition of 400 copies on handmade paper, published by Scheltema & Holkema, Amsterdam on the 300th anniversary of Rembrandt’s birth The selection of the prints was by the famous Dutch art historian Cornelis Hofstede de Groot, the founder of the Netherlands Institute for Art History (RKD) in The Hague.
