Notes:Richie Benaud played 63 Tests 1951-64. As an all-rounder, Australian captain, journalist and commentator, Richie Benaud was the most significant figure in cricket since World War II. During Benaud's captaincy, Australia did not lose a series, and became the dominant team in world cricket. His success was based on his ability to attack, his tactical boldness, and his ability to extract more performance from his players. Due to apartheid, this was the last South African tour to Australia until the 1992 World Cup & the 1993-94 Test Series.
