  of the ‘Great White Fleet’ anchored in the Waitamata Harbour, August 1908, probably taken from Mt Victoria Reserve, Davenport; the images show 16 American battleships and their escorts during their six-day visit as part of a world circumnavigation displaying American naval power. Some faults. Each large format image 365 x 520.
