Original paper covers retained. Wear and soiling to these. Mild soiling and foxing to contents. Bookplate of James Edge Partington on front pastedown. Bidwill, a New South Wales merchant and amateur botanist, in February to April 1839 made a journey from Tauranga to Taupo and Rotoaira, climbed Ngauruhoe and returned via the Thames Valley. An attractive copy of this extremely scarce classic, with good provenance. Binding VG. Contents G.
