  An early 17th French chair, original tapestry.
  Having survived three centuries of use in near perfect condition. When found it's hand -crafted needlework covers were substantially intact but in an extremely distressed conditon and the restored fabric as currently in place is the result of several months restoration by the Melbourne textile conservators.Photos and documentation available of restoration process.
