  A Japanese Meiji solid finely carved ivory figure of Hotei
  traditionally represented carrying his cloth sack over his shoulder, his long flowing robe open at the front exposing his corpulent belly, fine engraved and stained detail of various patterns. Raised on an oval solid tusk section base with character mark signature and old ‘David C.B. Cooke’ label. Minor losses.
