Lot Description:A Satsuma earthenware vase attributed to Kinkozan, Meiji period
of squat globular form surmounted by a tall neck with waisted mouth, the sides painted with a panel of birds among prunus and flowering plants on one side, the reverse with a cockerel and hen beside bamboo and peony flowers, all reserved on the gilt decorated dark blue ground, the base with traces of a gilt mark
