Lot Description:A rare George Jones blue and white game pie dish and cover
c.1878, impressed monogram and crescent mark, registration lozenge, the sides moulded with hares amongst grasses and ferns, the handles formed as oak branches issuing leaves and acorns, the cover finial formed as a nesting quail on a bed of grasses and ferns, the original liner with crazing and old repair, repair to the quail beak end, minor glaze rubbing. 350 x 210 x 188. -
