This painting is sold with a Papunya Tula Artists certificate which reads: "This painting depicts the Ngintaka or Perentie Dreaming associated with the site of Walungurru at the Kintore Community. A group of women were out hunting for food and dug in several locations. One woman struck the Perentie in the head with her digging stick as she dug. The Perentie emerged from the ground and escaped to the south. Rockholes formed in the ground where the women had been digging. The oblong shape to the left of the Perentie shows one the rockholes and the adjacent 'U' shapes are two women. The oval shapes above the Perentie are ground designs used during these ceremonies. The roundels are camp sites. The long black line is Nyalipi a twine made from the bark of a tree. The twine is used in ceremonies."
