Lot Description:Two vintage photos pertaining to the Miller and Gilberd families from Thames
owners/operators of a prominent haberdashery and general store, the group photo including eight family members; the other of a single family member, a portrait of Miss Miller with hand coloured detail, oval, both framed under glass. Note: the Gilberd family photo including many members of the Miller family, notably James Armstrong Miller, a senior partner in the firm of Miller & Son, Barristers, Solicitors & Notaries, James was born in Tonga 1848, his father was a Wesleyan missionary, further details available. -
