A rare and impressive N.Z. kauri gum colonial carved large Maori mere (hand club)
the deep wide spatulate blade reducing to the grip, the butt with six incised fine bands, narrow pierced suspension hole, good dark translucent gum, good old polish. Length 330, width 120.
