    Pair of Japanese Shibayama Panels
    The black lacquer ground inlaid with eagles chasing plovers. The flowering & leafing branches in bone & mother of pearl, the eagles carved from abalone shell. Panels within a carved wooden frame of chrysanthemums in relief. An inlaid chop in red lacquer. C1930.
