  Four exquisitely Carved Chinese Tall Panels
  these panels used as an internal wall. Qing dynasty 18th/19th century. The top half of the panels are divided into three carved sections and a solid wood base. The pierced open top with a raised floral motif. The main central panel with intricate lattice design is interspersed with auspicious symbols. The lower panel has a deeply carved panel of official figures seated behind tables in elaborately decorated rooms & riding in gardens with a procession of servants. On the rear of the lattice panel you can see the remnants of where paper or silk would have been affixed. Professionally restored with hinges, designed so the four panels can be joined, or free standing if necessary.
