Japanese Folio with twenty six works in Fitted Silk Box
The works by the revered artist Kaii Higashiyama [1908-1999]. There are twenty four in black and white & two in colour. In 1950, he exhibited a painting 'the road', in which his naive paintings were accepted. He is internationally recognised and awarded the Picasso Gold Medal by UNESCO in 1992. He has received two commissions from the Japanese Imperial Palace.
