Lot Description:THE 1930s CRICKET BAT: 'Warranted 2' Cricket Bat
(61cm long), split into three leaves, with c122 signatures including 7 teams - 1930 Australia, 1930 West Indies, 1931 South Africa, 1932 England (the famous Body-line team), 1935-36 England, 1936-37 England & 1936-37 Australia; plus a range of former Test players including Algy Gehrs (rare) & Warwick Armstrong. The signatures include all the famous names of the 1930s - Don Bradman, Bill Woodfull, Clarrie Grimmett, Bill Ponsford, George Headley (the 'Black Bradman'), Jock Cameron, Douglas Jardine (the infamous Body-line captain), Harold Larwood, J.B.Hobbs, E.R.T.Holmes, Joe Hardstaff, Gubby Allen, Walter Hammond, Bill Brown, Ross Gregory (scarce), Stan McCabe, Bill O'Reilly & Bert Oldfield. Signatures generally in very good condition. -
