    with single drawer, mother of pearl inlay & ormolu mounts, 147cm x 90cm, 78cm high, some restoration needed.

    The inside of the drawer bears a Christie's Auction label "Removed from Hughendon Manor & Curzon St. ... THE EARL OF BEACONSFIELD, K.G., Deceased: 310 An Oval-Shaped Ebonised ... with trellis and other ornaments in ormolu and mother of pearl, and mounted border and ornaments .." Benjamin Disraeli, 1st Earl of Beaconsfield, KG, PC, FRS, (21 December 1804 – 19 April 1881) was a British Conservative politician, writer and aristocrat who twice served as British Prime Minister (1868 and 1874-80). Subsequently sold by James R. Lawson Pty, in May 1954, lot 553. Copy of catalogue included with table.
