Lot Description:Late 18th Century sterling silver pair cased pocket watch
hallmarked London 1798, the watch with nicely engraved back with maker's details 'William Henry Andrews, Royston', watch is numbered 3539 and comes with key, missing glass. -
Provenance:By direct descent from the Ramsay (Baronets)/ Entwisle family of Scotland & Northern England.

Notes:He was the son of the famous mathematician and astronomer Henry Andrews and registered as a watch maker in Royston in the 1790's.
