carried by Capt. Musick on a Sikorsky S-42B Flying boat, Pan Am Clipper II, undertaking a survey flight for Pan Am. Carried privately (against instructions regarding carriage of commemorative mail) and unfranked but apparently intended for posting either in New Zealand or on return to Honolulu or San Francisco.
