  unmarked, c.1790, of elongated oval form in three parts, top for ink, the lower for the quills, seal engraved to base, one side engraved with with ruler (inches), the other side engraved with the exchange rate between English Guineas and Irish pounds, a/f, total weight 54 gm, h 15cm

  An identical example is illustrated on page 153, "Irish Georgian Silver" by Douglas Bennett. It bears the makers mark of Aeneas Ryan but is not otherwise hallmarked.
