  the colourful terrazzo top with deep thumb edge moulding and slightly curved front raised on a carved and painted base with scrolling legs embellished with acanthus scrolls and joined by a twin stretcher. All further embellished with a foliate carving highlighted with parcel gilt. With original manufacturers/retailers label under the top: "E.C. Gaze, Rue Charles V, No.8, Paris.
