Parma, Nel Regal Palazzo, MDCCCVII, Co' Tipi Bodoniani. 2 vols.Vol. 1: (20),331,(1)pp., lacking 2 leaves [pp. 11-14] which are supplied in old facsimile, carefully hand-lettered in ink to match original, tiny inkspot on extreme fore-edge of 6 leaves adjacent to facsimile. Vol. 2: (4),337,(3)pp., one gathering [pp. 9-16] in duplicate. Both volumes 4to.[31 cms.height], uncut, in original pale tan boards somewhat rubbed and edge-worn.14 cm. of spine top of Vol. 1 and 7 cm. of spine top of Vol. 2 neatly replaced. Apart from the defects noted above, a fine, clean copy internally.This is the second edition, an exact reprint of the first edition of 1794. -
