  RUTHERFORD [Sir] E[rnest]. Radio-Activity. Second Edition. Cambridge University Press, 1905. Numerous diagrams, (14),580pp., 8vo., cloth gilt, spine very slightly browned. Ownership signature dated 1907 on front flyleaf, nevertheless a fine copy.In the preface Rutherford explains this second edition 'includes so much new material...as to constitute almost a new work'. Loosely inserted are several newspaper clippings from the 30's concerning Rutherford.
