Wood engraved line illustrations by Maynard and Bray after Greek vase paintings, (12),269,(1) and 263,(1)pp., folio, red cloth with gilt device of the press on front covers, spines titled in gilt. Endpapers lightly browned, some spotting to top edges not visible on openings, 2-3 leaves in vol.2 with some patches of light foxing, but generally an excellent copy of a beautiful book.
