  SCARFE, Gerald, (expletive deleted). The Life and Times of Richard Nixon, London, Graphis Press for Gerald Scarfe, December 1974. Edition of 1000, 3 double-page folding plates, one in colour, 21 line-drawing plates printed recto only, some with facing photo of the relevant newspaper front page. Large folio, 43 x 31cms, 17 x 12 ins., pictorial card wrappers. A near fine copy, Some of Scarfe's brilliantly savage cartoons of the years 1970-1974, mostly featuring Nixon and the Vietnam war, but not neglecting a few other 'notables' such as Kissinger, Teddy Kennedy and some British politicians of the time; Nasty Tales. 1, 2 & 3, 1971, Nasty Tales 1 brought prosecution for obscenity.
