A particularly large hand knotted Persian Tabriz carpet
c.1920-30, decorated with a large central floral medallion and floral Islimi tendrils on a rich red ground framed by floral guards and a broad floral palmette meander border, in tones of salmon pink, indigo and bleu-célèste, along with various green and ivory highlights and a rich plum red ground. 4600 x 3000.
