  A cased Colt model 1849 Pocket Revolver with serial number 50589 and thus produced in 1852
  Walnut grips, extensive use of filigree to the frame as shown. In a walnut box, XX x XX x 5 cm, including an Eley London tin case of detonators, Colts Patent Ball and Bullet mould, a US flagged gunpowder holder, 4 bullets, and cleaning equipment. The full serial number "50589" is stamped on the bottom of the barrel lug, frame, trigger guard and back strap. All of the visible serial numbers match. Details BBL: 19 cm, With Stock: 33 cm; Gauge: 31 percussion; Finish: casehardened; Grips: walnut; Serial Number: 50589. Case brass-hinged, green velvet innards, no key.
