  Kete Muka Kiwi
  Very good example of a finely made kiwi feather kete, double pair twining with kiwi feathers attached on every second aho (weft). The muka kaupapa is in good condition. Two decorative tassels to the front and one on the back.
  H.170mm, W.210mm.
• Provenance:
  Formally in the collection of Thomas Ryan, 1864-1927. This item was present in his studio and highly likely used to adorn his subjects. Private collection, New Zealand.
