  Superb Wahaika
  In classic form, this superb club shows great age, with masterfully carved female figure to incurve, a beautifully carved head with open mouth bearing teeth. One hand clutching torso and other arching behind leg. The legs arching into upper shoulder of handle terminating into three digit clasp, leading to a finely defined manaia head to handle end. Rich dark patina. East Coast, Gisborne New Zealand.
