    Queen's South Africa Medal 1899-1902.
    w/4c 'Cape Colony', 'Rhodesia', Transvaal', 'South Africa 1901'. First three clasps joined together and all loose on ribbon. (2483 Trpr C E Crawford, New Zealand M R). Sold with South African War Veterans' Association of New Zealand bronze and enamel membership lapel badge (fern frond).

    Private purchase.
  • Notes:
    Trooper Charles Edward Crawford was a member of B Company, 5th NZ Contingent. A clerk, from the Westland, was attested at Wellington on 28 March 1900 aged 23. Medal and first three clasps issued 20 October 1902 and fourth clasp on 15 December 1906.
