Henderson, NZP), 1st type, ring suspender, by Kohn. Wills (1990) confirms medal 1887. With record of service. -
Notes:Alexander Henderson, born 15 April 1847, a farmer, joined Otago Provincial Police 31 July 1872; sworn into NZ Constabulary 1 May 1872. Served in Dunedin, Christchurch 1895-97 (dismissed but later in year reinstated), Wellington 1898-1900, Gisborne 1900, Auckland 1901-08 (retired). Detective 2 class 1874 and from 1897, Detective 1 class 1879.
