Lot Description:Naval Long Service and Good Conduct Medal.
George V (1st type, naval uniform) (199002 W G Townsend, PO I CL HMS New Zealand). HMS New Zealand was presented to the RN in 1911 and sold in 1922. This battle cruiser took part in the Battles of Heligoland 1914, Dogger Bank 1915 and Jutland 1916. -
