Lot Description:Naval Long Service and Good Conduct Medal.
Elizabeth II, type 2 (Harkness, N R NZ11449, CPO CK O, HMNZS Philomel). Norman Ross Harkness joined RNZN on 8 May 1948 as an assistant cook. His engagement expired in on 7 May 1959 but was extended to May 1968. His 're-engraved' medal was issued to him in July 1968 when he was living in Rotorua. With research notes and record of service. -
