Lot Description:New Zealand Medal, reverse dated 1845 to 1846.
(John N Tripp, Gr's Mate, HMS Hazard). Also entitled to China Medal 1842. Recorded in Longley (RN & RM). 9 officers and 22 naval ratings received this medal; BBM 35 medals to the ship. In Douglas-Morris (NM). The ship was present at the fall of Kororareka, Ohaihau and Ohaewai. With brief notes. -
