    An impressive 19thC French Empire gilt and patinated bronze sculptural mantel clock
    ‘Daphne holding Apollo’s Harp’, the engine turned dial with Roman numerals with snake surround all above a recumbent nymph, surmounted by a lyre harp and wreath upon books, a classical woman Daphne with arrow holding the harp, all upon the rectangular base with bronze plaque to the front in relief with a conforming classical figure and cherubs, the plinth raised on block feet, the movement with hour and half hour bell striking, silk suspension. Complete with pendulum, key and original certificate of purchase. 365 x 137 x 587.
