  A mid 19thC Anglo-Indian silver inkstand
  twin handled rectangular form with ornate applied cast leaf, flower and scroll border in the French manner, with two crystal cube shaped inkwells and central finial (thread damaged), with presentation inscription, 'FROM Mrs P.F. Isacke TO Major & Mrs Hayne...' . Stamped markers mark ORR for Peter Nicholas Orr, Madras c1851-1860. Weight of silver base only 410 grams. Length 300.
