written from the Deanery, Melbourne, addressed to Captain Pasco, R.N. at Swan Hill, franked 4d, cancelled by barred numeral "1", backstamped with Kerang barred oval and Melbourne cds. The Bishop relates details of his travels and writesof "embarking for China". Address panel signed "E (?) Victoria". Unusual.
