  In 1973 the artist painted the Cafe Portrait Series set in Kings Cross Sydney. The capped male figure in this work is also found in another work , Untitled (Cafe Portrait Series) 1974 from a Private collection in Nelson, offered as lot 76 at Dunbar Sloane, NZ's auction on 20 November 2013.
