• Notes:
  This painting shows a strong influence to early Horace Brodzky works, who Rosengrave knew and admired. His low toned paintings of group figures relate to early social realism paintings. After the exhibition at Stanley Coe Gallery this painting was exchanged with fellow artist Percy Watson (a practice which artists still do today). Percy Watson considered "The Go Kart Brothers" as one of the most important Rosengrave paintings produced during his life time.
