The urn shaped trophy with tapering lid and acorn finial flanked to each side with angular handles inscribed ' THIS CUP was unanimously voted to the REVd VERNEY LOVETT.DD...in testimony of their high estimation of his character, & exemplary conduct as a Clergyman, ...during his incumbency of 20 years. A.D 1815', 806grs total weight of silver, 26.5cm high.
