    An early 19th century skeletonized gold automaton watch
    18K gold 55mm diameter case and with verge fusée movement quarter repeating on two gongs, the skeletonized display of two classical figures in bi-colour gold who strike two silver bells, the repeat activated by depressing the pendant, a small white enamel ring dial marked with hours in Arabic numerals. The open face case with engine turned back and finely fluted walls, the sprung hinged gilt curvette engraved Breguet & fils, c.1820. Glass replaced with perspex.
