  tapered wooden grip, brass hilt with scrolling bars to double oval flanged guard, the two guard panels front and back and ball pommel decorated with a raised armorial with hog to the centre, crown top, the steel blade of mildly tapered double edged form engraved with maker’s name Length 950.
